About the Fellowship
The Accounting Research and Development Unit (ARDU) at Neftaly leads high-level research, analysis, and reform-oriented initiatives in financial management, accounting education, public financial governance, and digital transformation in finance. Fellows play a key role in producing thought leadership, conducting applied research, and guiding Neftaly’s work in professional development and fiscal accountability.

Key Responsibilities
As a Neftaly ARDU Fellow, you will:

• Conduct research on current and emerging accounting practices, policies, and technologies
• Contribute to the development of new tools, models, and frameworks in financial reporting, auditing, and management accounting
• Support accounting education reform and curriculum development aligned with industry trends
• Lead or contribute to white papers, technical reports, and thought leadership pieces
• Engage with academic institutions, professional bodies, and government stakeholders
• Mentor interns and junior researchers in the unit
• Participate in workshops, conferences, and knowledge-sharing events

Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who:

• Hold an Honours, Master’s, or PhD degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field
• Have strong research, analytical, and technical writing skills
• Are familiar with international and regional accounting standards (IFRS, IPSAS, GAAP)
• Are interested in innovation, policy development, and systems improvement
• Demonstrate thought leadership, initiative, and collaborative spirit
• Have prior experience in academia, research institutions, government finance, or the accounting profession
