Neftaly is seeking a knowledgeable, driven, and innovative individual to serve as an Awards Specialist<\/strong> within the Neftaly Awards Programme<\/strong>. This strategic role focuses on developing, refining, and enhancing the structure, credibility, and impact of our prestigious awards initiatives, which celebrate excellence and innovation across communities, industries, and sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Awards Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert in awards design, evaluation criteria, and stakeholder engagement. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in programme development, monitoring and evaluation, and event-based recognition systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Design and refine award categories, eligibility criteria, and scoring methodologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Lead the development of fair and transparent evaluation frameworks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Provide technical support to the Awards Officer, Manager, and judging panels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Conduct research and benchmarking to ensure the programme meets global standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the Awards Programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Support stakeholder engagement strategies including outreach to judges, sponsors, and nominees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Contribute to strategic planning and growth of the Neftaly Awards portfolio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Key Skills and Competencies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience with monitoring and evaluation frameworks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Knowledge of recognition programmes, grant processes, or similar award systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ability to present complex ideas in clear and accessible ways.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong research, planning, and documentation capabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Public Administration, Programme Management, or a related field (Master\u2019s degree is an advantage).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 3+ years of experience in programme design, awards\/recognition systems, or M&E roles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and MS Office or Google Workspace.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Familiarity with digital tools for project management, surveys, or application systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
