The Neftaly Charitable Giving and Planning Officer plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Neftaly’s philanthropic initiatives. This position is ideal for a highly organised, motivated individual with a strong commitment to community upliftment, donor engagement, and responsible giving.

Role Overview:

As a Charitable Giving and Planning Officer, you will work closely with the Manager and broader team to coordinate donations, support campaign execution, and assist in building strong relationships with donors, partners, and beneficiaries. Your work will directly contribute to the successful delivery of impactful social programmes across various communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the planning and administration of charitable giving campaigns and events.
  • Maintain accurate records of donors, contributions, and funding allocations.
  • Prepare donor communication materials, including thank-you letters, updates, and reports.
  • Assist in the development of proposals and funding applications.
  • Monitor progress and impact of giving programmes and prepare regular feedback reports.
  • Support logistics for community outreach, charity drives, and fundraising events.
  • Help ensure compliance with internal giving policies and relevant legal standards.
  • Liaise with community organisations, beneficiaries, and stakeholders as needed.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Public Management, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in nonprofit work, fundraising, or community development preferred.
  • Excellent administrative, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with donor or CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Passion for social development and ethical giving practices.
