The Neftaly Artisan School Learnership is an exciting opportunity for motivated youth and aspiring artisans to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in various trades and vocational fields. This structured learning programme combines classroom-based education with hands-on workplace experience, empowering participants to become competent, employable, and entrepreneurial within the technical and artisan sectors.

Key Features of the Learnership:

• Accredited Training: Participants receive accredited training in trades such as carpentry, welding, plumbing, electrical work, bricklaying, motor mechanics, and more.
• Workplace Experience: Learners are placed in real work environments to apply their skills, gain confidence, and understand workplace expectations.
• Mentorship and Support: Each learner is supported by experienced trainers and mentors to guide their development and ensure successful completion of the programme.
• Stipend and Certification: Learners receive a monthly stipend and, upon successful completion, a nationally recognized qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend all scheduled training sessions, workshops, and workplace assignments.
• Participate actively in hands-on projects and practical tasks under the guidance of qualified instructors.
• Demonstrate commitment to learning and improvement throughout the programme.
• Adhere to safety protocols, ethical standards, and Neftaly policies.
• Complete all assignments, assessments, and logbooks as required.

Eligibility Criteria:

• South African youth aged 18–35 years.
• Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent (Grade 12 preferred).
• Interest or aptitude in artisan trades and technical skills.
• Willingness to commit to the full duration of the learnership (usually 12 months).
• Unemployed and not currently enrolled in any other learnership or formal education programme.
