The Neftaly Bookkeeping Specialist is a key member of the Finance and Accounting team, responsible for overseeing and executing advanced bookkeeping functions to support the financial integrity of Neftaly. This role involves managing complex financial records, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and providing accurate financial data for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update comprehensive financial records, including ledgers, journals, and subsidiary books.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
- Reconcile all financial accounts, including bank statements, supplier accounts, and payroll records.
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit standards.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
- Train and support junior finance staff, interns, or fellows in bookkeeping practices.
- Work closely with the Finance Manager to support audits and strategic financial planning.
Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero.

Qualifications:
