Neftaly Community Development Officer

The Neftaly Community Development Officer is a dynamic role focused on the planning, coordination, and implementation of grassroots projects that uplift communities and promote social development. Role Overview:

As a Community Development Officer, you will play a key role in engaging with communities, assessing their needs, and facilitating programmes that focus on empowerment, education, health, livelihoods, and inclusion. You will work collaboratively with internal teams, local leaders, partner organisations, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of Neftaly’s community-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the design and implementation of community projects and interventions.
• Conduct community outreach, needs assessments, and data collection.
• Organise workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns.
• Support beneficiaries and community groups through mentorship and resource mobilisation.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare activity reports, and contribute to impact evaluations.
• Build strong relationships with community members, government representatives, and NGOs.
• Promote inclusivity, participation, and sustainability in all programme activities.

Ideal Candidate:

• National Diploma or Degree in Community Development, Social Work, Sociology, Public Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in community development, outreach, or social services.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within multicultural teams.
• Familiarity with community structures and local government systems is an advantage.
