The Neftaly Conference Coordinator Learnership is a structured and practical training opportunity designed to equip aspiring professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to plan, organize, and manage conferences and corporate events. This learnership combines academic instruction with hands-on experience, preparing learners for entry-level roles in events and conference management.

Learner Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating the logistical and administrative elements of conferences and events.
  • Support communication with speakers, vendors, venues, and attendees.

  • Maintain accurate event documentation and records.
  • Participate actively in training sessions and complete all assigned assessments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • South African citizen aged between 18 and 35
  • Grade 12/Matric certificate (qualification in Events Management, Hospitality, or Public Relations is an advantage)
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and email)
  • Unemployed and not currently enrolled in another learnership
