As a University Graduate Intern in the Neftaly Accounts Reconciliation Unit, I am engaged in a structured internship programme designed to bridge academic knowledge with practical workplace experience in financial reconciliation and reporting. My role involves:
- Assisting in the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, sub-ledgers, and bank statements to support financial accuracy and compliance.
- Identifying and reporting discrepancies in financial records and supporting the resolution process under the supervision of experienced finance professionals.
- Participating in month-end and year-end financial close activities, including the preparation of reconciliation schedules and supporting documents.
