Neftaly Accounts Reconciliation Unit Volunteer
As a Volunteer in the Neftaly Accounts Reconciliation Unit, I contribute my time and skills to support the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s financial records. This voluntary role provides me with valuable exposure to professional accounting practices while allowing me to make a meaningful impact. My responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the reconciliation of financial accounts by reviewing and comparing general ledger entries, bank statements, and supporting documents.
- Helping identify and report discrepancies in financial data and assisting with the resolution process under supervision.
- Supporting the preparation and organization of reconciliation files and financial reports for internal use and audits.
- Learning and using accounting software and reconciliation tools to gain practical experience in financial data management.
- Maintaining clear and accurate records in compliance with Neftaly’s accounting standards and internal controls.
- Collaborating with finance team members on routine tasks and contributing to the unit’s overall efficiency and accuracy.
- Participating in mentorship opportunities and gaining insights into real-world financial operations and reconciliation procedures.
This volunteer position enhances my understanding of the financial reconciliation process and helps me develop skills essential for a future career in finance, accounting, or auditing.
